Starting to think about summer!

Ready for another week of swim lessons! We still have room in all of our morning classes. We also have 1 spot available in Swim Babies and 1 spot available in Level 1 in the evening this week.

Summer is just around the corner! We are currently working to set the swim lesson schedule for summer 2020. Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, it is unclear exactly when the pools will be available. As soon as we know when the lessons can start, registration will open. Stay safe!

LESSONS CANCELLED Due to the current forecast for rain/storms for the rest of the day, I am going to go ahead and cancel tonight’s lessons. We will make up the missed class by adding time to our lessons for the rest of the week. This will be the schedule for evening lessons for the remainder of the week: SWIM BABIES: 4:50 pm - 5:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm Friday... LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 3: 5:30 PM - 6:20 PM Tuesday through Friday LEVEL 2 and LEVEL 4: 6:30 PM - 7:20 PM Tuesday through Friday

I know you are all ready for pool season as much as I am! Please know that I am doing all I can to get ready for this summer’s swim lessons. We are waiting for direction from the Arkansas State Health Department, Governor Hutchinson and the CDC on when and how the pools will be able to open. As soon as we get that information, we hope to be able to start swim lesson registration.

Summer is approaching, and we are preparing for a great summer! Parting Waters, LLC Swim lesson registration will open on May 1st!

SWIM LESSON REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SUMMER LESSONS: The pools at Hurricane Golf and Country Club opened on May 23rd, under strict guidelines from the Arkansas Department of Health in regards to physical distancing. Due to the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we are developing ways to offer lessons while abiding by the directive to maintain distancing for the protection of our swimmers and ins...tructors. We are implementing the following accommodations: The instructors will be offering contact-free lessons. This means that non-swimmers (Swim Babies, Level 1 and Level 2) will require an adult family member to be in the water with the child to aid in swimming skills. The instructor will maintain a distance of 6 feet during lessons except in the event that it endangers the safety of our swimmers. In an effort to offer the best lessons possible, we are reducing class sizes and staggering lesson times to allow for more space during each lesson. Participants will be spaced 6 feet apart during class. The instructors may wear a mask and/or face shield during the class if close contact will be required. We ask that children who have experienced any signs of illness within the past week of the start of the class not participate in the lesson. Arrangements will be made to complete the lesson at a later date. All participants will be screened each day with a temperature check and COVID-19 screening questions. Face masks are required to enter the facility and during the screening process. Masks may be removed once you are seated or in the water as long as a 6 foot distance is maintained from non family members. Spectators during the lesson are limited to one per participant unless the participant is a member of Hurricane. Non-members may be asked to wait outside of the fence if capacity numbers are reached around the pool.
