Have you completed your spring shape up for your pool? Hot weather is here and if you take care of the filter clean and re-balance chems for the summer you will have an easier time maintaining during the winter months.

What a beautiful crystal clear morning in Northern Cali! As we get into some winter weather finally think about caring for your pool during this time of year. Here is a tip: If you know there is going to be some serious freeze happening float a few plastic milk cartons in your pool. If the water freezes and expands the surface the cartons will crunch and prevent damage to your pool tile.

This morning there was an notice on my phone that from 10pm tonight to 9am tomorrow morning there is a "Hard Freeze" warning in effect for the greater Northern California area. Here is a good pool tip...make sure you change the time on your pool equipment to run during the early morning hours when it is the coldest. This will help prevent any freeze damage.
