Due to the Extreme Heat, and our lack of shade/seating, we have decided to cancel the event for tomorrow. We sincerely apologize. Safety is our #1 priority here at MCP, and we feel it is in everyone’s best interest that the event be canceled. Thank you.

Friday night swim will begin tomorrow night, June 11th! 9-11pm $1 admission! Bring some friends!! We hope to see you all there.

Swim lessons scheduled for today, July 22nd, will be cancelled. We will start tomorrow. Don’t forget, it’s not too late to register. Please arrive around 4:45, tomorrow, July 23rd. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!

The Mitchell City Pool will be closed today during regular hours for maintenance. We will open today, 4:45 for scheduled swim lessons. We will reopen for regular operating hours tomorrow, 7/23, 12-5:45.

Hello everyone, it is still early in the spring but we are definitely preparing for a HOT/ Busy summer. We have made some structural changes to the pool this winter, along with a few other cosmetic changes that will be shared at a later date. Just a couple announcements to share with everyone now. - The hiring process for the 2020 Pool season will begin Monday, March 9th. You can pick up/ turn in an application from the mayor’s office. Located inside City Hall, 407 S. 6th S...treet, Mitchell, IN. Office hours 8:00a-4:30p. - The process will end the first week of April. Please get your applications turned in before then. - Returning Staff Members must fill out a NEW application. - Applications for Concession Employees, as well as lifeguarding positions are available. - You must be certified when you apply, or must be in the process of certification, WE DO NOT offer certification. We are accepting applications for the following positions. -Concession Worker -lifeguard (Must be certified by May 29th)... MCP does not offer Lifeguard Certification at this time. The Mitchell City Pool will be Closing at 4:45, Monday, July 22nd- Friday, July 26th. We will be hosting swim lessons from 5pm-6pm this coming week. $25 per child for the entire week! Register now, it’s not too late!

Well, that’s a wrap for the MCP this summer. We are now officially closed. With that being said, we would like to thank everyone who came out this summer! You keep us going. We hope you enjoyed your time spent at the pool, and we also hope to see you back next year! Until next summer,
