Your swimming pool needs consistent chemical levels to keep your water balanced and looking crystal clear. Ideally the chemicals should be tested and maintained on a weekly basis. Many homeowners who maintain their own pools don't understand swimming pool water chemistry and end up constantly paying to fight algae, cloudy water or a multitude of other chemical imbalance issues. If that sounds familiar, contact Crystal Rain Pool Services for a quote on our weekly service and let one of our experienced professionals maintain your pool and/or spa for you.

To Our Valued Customers, We understand the growing concern regarding the coronavirus and we are actively monitoring all public sources of information and guidance. Swimming pool service falls under the shelter-in-place exemption for "service providers necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation and essential operation of residences and other essential businesses."... Keeping your pool sanitized is still essential and that is why pool service falls under the exemption. Pool distributors remain open to support this safety and sanitation concern and as long as they remain open, we will continue to provide pool service. Our service technicians have been instructed to wear gloves whenever possible when coming into contact with your equipment and to use hand sanitizer often, and given they work alone, they can adhere to the "social distancing" order. The health, wellness and safety of our customers and service technicians is absolutely our top priority. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office. Please be mindful that the situation is fluid and we will keep you updated of any changes. We hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.

Can the COVID-19 virus spread through pools, hot tubs or spas? According to the CDC there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools, hot tubs or spas. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools, hot tubs or spas should inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.

Have you adjusted your pool filtration for the winter months? During the summer months you may have been running your pump as much as 10 - 14 hrs. a day. Circulation is still important but you can save on your energy bill reducing your timer to 6 - 8 hrs. daily, which is probably enough during the winter depending on your pool size and the amount of debris that you get. If you have any questions call Crystal Rain Pools.
