Many have no insurance and they are certainly NOT the #1 Pool company in WNY according to Angie's List for 9 years running as we have been. They are using names such as Pool Doctor, WNY Pool Service, The Pool Doctor, WNY Pool Dr. and different variations popping up daily. We can't even keep up with all these pretenders. I have... had potential customers call and say they would like to use us based on referrals from their neighbors or friends, but have concerns about seeing BBB and on-line reviews that are disparaging. These frauds are NOT WNY Pool Doctor ! Please check out our ratings on Angies's List. I have had to explain to some potential customers that they are not looking at OUR company's reviews, and that these are imposters or wanna be's trying to capitalize on our impeccable reputation. Many of which, are not even legal businesses or registered with NY state. There is ONLY one pool company registered as WNY Pool Doctor. We service some of the finest pools in WNY at some of the most expensive and iconic properties in the area. We understand that some families are experiencing economic pressure due to the COVID-19 situation. Donna and I asked ourselves if we could do anything within our company to help out in times such as these. Although we are a small family business, and are not the most expensive pool service company in the area, we have decided to do what we can to help the community as best we can.
