Guy Genis Designs, in collaboration with Cheryl Genis-Markham IIDA, ASID, designed the lanai patio area overlooking the members only golf course at the Four Seasons Hualalai Kona retreat. This patio vignette is an entertainer’s dream, complete with outdoor kitchen, dining table, and outdoor living room. Adjacent to the lounge is the master bedroom, which opens up via electric pocket doors. Special rich Hawaiian hardwoods were used on the 5400 ft. home to endure the island ...weather. Fans were installed to keep the humidity levels down and circulate the air under the roof line. Dining table chairs are by Dedon. All landscape tile is by Walker Zanger. Perched above the 16th tee box of the members only golf course at the Four Seasons Hualalai, Guy Genis Designs ASID, in collaboration with his sister, Cheryl Genis-Markham IIAD, ASID, designed an ideal landscape that blends with the natural Hawaiian terrain of black lava rock and lush vegetation. Numerous palm trees were planted to frame the dark-bottomed pool and spa, and the black lava rock fire table. Gas-powered tiki torches were strategically positioned for a nighttime... atmosphere. Teal lounge furniture by Brown & Jordan adds the right amount of color to this backyard oasis.
