Waverly Piranhas Swim Club

Parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders...there is an informational meeting regarding middle school swim team tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6 pm @ the high school pool. Season starts Monday, Nov. 18th and lasts for 10 weeks. Your child does not need to be a Piranha to participate. This is a great opportunity for swimmers to build their endurance, strength, and stroke technique while learning how to race at competitions. Looking forward to seeing you there!

A HUGE thank you to the families that volunteered at our poker fundraiser this past week!!! Some of you even worked 2 or 3 shifts...we are so grateful for your help and commitment to this club. You are awesome!!!

We still have 5 spots that need to be filled for our Texas Hold 'Em fundraiser that starts this Wednesday! This is a big money-maker for our club and allows us to keep our rates low. We REALLY need these spots filled or our fundraising event will be cancelled, which will cause our winter session rates to go up significantly. Winter session registration starts tomorrow, January 6th from 6:15-7:15 at the WHS pool. If you can't make it tomorrow, we'll also have registration on Tuesday, January 14th. Winter session runs through March 20th. Hope to see a whole school of Piranhas at the pool this winter!
