It is important to hire a professional to do work on your spa. These owners paid a guy a lot of money to replace the board in their spa. He didn't tighten all the connections. Loose connections cause arcing which causes heat. The one picture shows the melted wires and terminal that I had to replace. The board was not damaged and luckily the owners were home. If the owners weren't home to see the smoke coming from the spa their home could have caught fire because of this mistake.
