PSA: We are STRONGLY suggesting to everyone whose pool equipment froze, due to loss of power, on continue to naturally let the equipment thaw. It is not ADVISABLE to try to expedite the thawing process as you could potentially create the plumbing to thaw unevenly thus cracking undamaged plumbing and/or equipment. Here is an example of pool equipment plumbing that appeared to be thawed but still has A LOT of ice in the plumbing. At bare minimum, please wait until Monday and/or have a pool professional come out and inspect your equipment before doing so.

2020 has been one crazy start for us here at Elite Pools! Here are some our many repairs from the historic freeze we had here in Texas.
