Good information about phosphates and nitrates. Except don't use PhosFree. It will take you forever to eliminate phosphates that way. You can use PR-10000, but make sure to read the instructions carefully. This stuff clogs your filter and can cause serious damage to your filter. My recommendation is to contact us for help with this problem if you're in our area, if not contact a pool professional in your area. Happy swimming!!

Here is how to prevent your beautiful swimming pool from turning into a green lagoon... -Adjust your Cyanuric Acid levels to between 50-80 ppm -Ensure your phosphate levels are below 300 ppb -Check that your filters have been cleaned in the past 4 months... -Change your pump timers so it's running at least 8 hours a day and 12 hours for sand and cartridge filters -Make sure your pool water is maintaining 3-5 ppm chlorine. -Circulation is key for clean water so checking your skimmers and pump basket are also necessary.
