Certified ISR Instructors NEVER throw babies into the water. The TikTok that went viral in 2020- iykyk- was not ISR. There are so many copycat programs that giv...e us this reputation which is extremely unfortunate. What should you look for when finding an Instructor? They have an email address ending in @infantswim.com Can provide parents with a copy of their current ISR Certificate for review Offer lessons five consecutive days per week, for a maximum of 10 minutes each day Will require your child to be registered through ISR’s Online Registration Process and approved to begin lessons by our Registration Evaluation Team (approval email will come from an email address ending in @infantswim.com) Complete the Daily BUDS Discussion form with you prior to each lesson

We encourage families to consider lessons in the "off season" to arm their child with aquatic skills BEFORE pools begin to open for the summer. But a common hes...itation from parents is that the child will forget if they learn too early Luckily ISR Self-Rescue Skills are a sensorimotor skill- just like crawling, walking, or riding a bike. Sensorimotor skills are not simply forgotten although they can certainly get rusty without use. This is why, 6-8 months after your child's initial ISR learning, your instructor will encourage you to return for Refresher and Maintenance lessons. This will ensure your little fish gets an opportunity to adjust their skills to their rapid growth and will keep things sharp Summer swimmers are skilled in the Winter...reach out to your local instructor today www.infantswim.com

We this 2 year olds sweet little swim! Our favorite part? Her head posture! Head up "swimming" is doggy paddling, which is tiring for dogs & humans alike! ... If your little one looks frantic while in the water trying to reach the side of the pool, look for swim lessons that prioritize teaching her the correct posture for safely & EFFECTIVELY swimming. Face in, head down, legs kicking behind, like you see little Miss demonstrating so beautifully here

New Year, New to ISR? Welcome! ISR's primary focus is to teach your child to become a productive swimmer, or floater, in any depth of water. ISR will greatly i...ncrease your child's chance of surviving an aquatic accident, even fully clothed! Our core conviction is that the child is the most important part of a drowning prevention strategy and our results are proof that children can save themselves. While things may look a bit different now vs when this video was shot (grrr covid!) the outcome of our program- highly skilled little students- remains the same To learn more about ISR lessons, visit www.infantswim.com where you can also enter your zip code to find an instructor near you
