"Here's where I want to play, Mom and Dad." The Pierre Outdoor Pool project was one of the hosts at the Pierre Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event last evening. We talked to lots of interested folks and made some new friends.

There will be lots of opportunities coming up this summer to support the new Pierre Outdoor Pool. These two guys are getting ready for one of them. One of the events at this year's Oahe Days, June 18-19, will be a Rubber Duck race down Capital Creek. More information as to how you can own a duck and have a chance to win some great prizes, including a summer pass to the new pool when it opens. Keep watching this page and other media outlets for more details as they become available.

For the Pierre Pool booth at the KCCR Farm, Home and Sports show on February 27 & 28, Mindy Cheap put together a couple of really cool beach bags, filled with everything you need to spend a day at the new pool when it opens (sunglasses, sunscreen, a beach towel, dive sticks, etc.). We had lots of people stop and talk with us and sign up to win the beach bags. We're happy to announce our winners, Bob McDonald of Pierre and Olivia Hofeldt, pictured below, with her brother Luke. Congratulations guys, we'll see you at the pool next summer.
