How did we get here? The aquatics industry has been in a negative feedback loop for the last two decades. 1. There aren't enough learn-to-swim options available for people to consistently learn. 2. Fewer students complete their lessons and go on to become lifeguards and instructors themselves. 3. Fewer instructors means even fewer lessons and the process repeats.... What is needed are higher wages for instructors and more opportunities to work enough hours to make the job both professionally respectable and livable. #endthewaitlist #aquatics
