SWIMMING POOL NEWS The pool will be closed this Saturday (15th December) as it is the Christmas tree party for all the children. The last swimming session will be on Saturday 22nd December, this will be a one hour session 2-3pm. The swimming pool will then be closed over the holidays. The first session in the new year will be Monday 7th January. I would like to say a HUGE thank-you to all the volunteer lifeguards and key holders for all their time they have given this year! I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas time and new year.

Now the decision has been made that the island bonfire will go ahead tomorrow (Monday), it has been decided that the swimming pool will be closed. Hope you all enjoy the fire, our next swimming session will be Thursday 6:30pm public and then it’s fitness swim at 7:15.

Extra Fun public session is on at Sanday swimming pool tonight(Wednesday 31st). Toys, floats and inflatables! 6:30-7:30. Thank-you Tina Brown for arranging this. The pool will then be closed on Thursday and Friday as everyone will be preparing and enjoy the show. Hope you all have a great Sanday Soulka

Due to worsening weather conditions and Orkney schools closing early, the swimming pool will now be closed tonight. Sorry if this is causing disappointment. The swimming pool will now be opening on Thursday 6:30-7:15 is public and then fitness swimming 7:15-8:00pm. If you know of anyone who was going swimming this evening that is unlikely to see this could you please pass on? Thanks

Don’t forget to take your swim kit to village hall scheme today, it’s Friday pool party at 3pm! The swimming pool will be open on Thursday 2nd August as normal, but will be closed on Friday 3rd (show day). The pool is then open Saturday 2-3pm inflatables allowed. Good luck to all those with show entries!
