Another heartbreaking status I’m so sad to announce that we must close our doors for a short period. I’m hoping and praying this is the final stretch now ...and the end is in sight with the vaccine being rolled out. Once again, thank you for all your lovely messages and on going support during this really tricky time. I will of course re-open at the very earliest opportunity and I will be planning to put more exciting activities on for the children as soon as I’m allowed to. Important announcement please read Due to the government’s change in policy regarding the wearing of face coverings in enclosed spaces. We now need to mak...e it mandatory for spectators at the small pool to wear a face covering. I will be placing chairs outside on the terrace if people would rather sit outside and not wear one. Please note, this isn’t our decision and we are just following all the guidelines set out by the government and Swim England to make our environment as safe as possible. Thank you everyone for your continued support.

AD Swim Stars is Reopening very soon I was really hopeful that I would be delivering the good news that I would be able to re open on the 4th July. As you ...are most likely aware, it seems that the government haven’t yet given swimming pools and leisure centres the opportunity to re open. I’m truly devastated. I want nothing more than to be able to get back to what myself and my team enjoy doing, teaching you all how to Swim. I strongly believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel. As almost every other industry now starts to re open, we surely can’t be far behind?! I truly love my job and can’t wait to get started again. In the interim, if we can’t be AD Swimstars we could perhaps be AD Sports Stars.....would anyone be interested in doing some outside sports ? As well as being a swimming coach and I am actually a qualified football coach and multi sports coach (although I am a little rusty ) This would be a great chance for me to see everyone again and to try and wear out your little ones . Please let me know in the comments below if that’s something you would be interested in ?? Once again, words can’t really express my gratitude to those that have supported the swim school during this time. Do you want the good news? Or the other good news ??????? The first bit of good news is that lessons are still running over half term as we look to add more weeks to our swim Callander. ... The other bit of good news is we will once again be running our sports sessions. These sessions are completely free of charge to all my swimmers. Sessions will be held on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th between 10 am-11.30 am Booking is essential and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to how popular our sessions were last time I’m afraid these sessions are only for children who swim with us. For more information and to book in please add yourself to the sports stars private group.

update 9/11/20 sadly no news yet on us being able to reopen ! We will reopen on Dec 2nd unless anything changes and and we can reopen any earlier ... Hi all, in light of the national lockdown on Thursday. It’s looking increasingly likely that we will have to close for a short period. Our only glimmer of hope is that the chief executive of Swim England is lobbying for swimming to be able to continue during lockdown. The basis of the argument being that schools will remain open and swimming is a key aspect of the national curriculum. Once again, this is a very testing time for the swim school, it’s absolutely heartbreaking having to close again. Please rest assured I will do everything I can to get the swim school open again at the earliest opportunity. I will continue to add weeks to our swim calendar where we would normally take a break. This year I’m planning on running our lessons right up until XMAS. I will also endeavour to deliver free multi sports sessions to all my swimmers as I did during summer and more recently during Oct half term. Together, we will get through this testing time. PRIVATE 1-2-1 SWIMMING LESSONS FOR AGES 2.5yrs-4yrs Would you like to give your little one the best possible start ??????... I have a limited number of morning, lunchtime and early afternoon 1-2-1 slots available. Please note.... I don't have any availability for after school times. Private one-to-one lessons for children aged between 2.5-4 years What a fantastic way to get your child a real head-start in learning to swim. Giving them individual dedicated attention from a trained instructor allows your child to trust the instructor, meaning they can gain confidence in the water much faster while being comfortable in overcoming any weaknesses in their swimming ability. Children are taught to swim in a fun and friendly environment. All private lessons are subject to availability. If you are interested in private tuition, please comment below or send a PM.
