Tomorrow’s (5/27) 6am and 7am Wellness on the Water classes at Grand Crossing Park are cancelled due to chilly temps and possible rain.
Our Wellness on the Water Wednesday and Friday 7:45 am yoga classes are cancelled this week (10/14 and 10/16) and are now done for the season. We see consistent cold temps in the mornings in the next few weeks. Thanks for a great outdoor season!
THIN ICE WARNING!!! The skim layer of ice at Winnequah Park lagoon is not safe for walking on. We will monitor ice thickness over the next several weeks, but please don’t attempt to walk on the ice. We’ve also witnessed many people throwing rocks and sticks on the ice. This will make incredibly difficult to have skating on the lagoon this Winter. Please help us out!
The sun is out and we are thinking of the outdoors Our Monona Park Shelters will be available for rent this 2021 season from May 3 - October 3rd 2021! Monona residents may start reserving March 1st (that is in 3 weeks!) and non-Monona residents may reserve starting April 1st. #WinnequahPark Lagoon Skating Now Closed for the season. Mother Nature always wins in the end. Rink conditions have deteriorated and expected high temperature will result in unsafe ice over the coming days.
