8/26/20 Dear Creekside Members, We hope you are still able to find moments of relaxation as we hang on to the last bits of summer. We have a few announcements as we start to wrap up the season.... NEW HOURS STARTING AUG 31. As noted earlier, our plan is to remain open until September 20th, as long as the health department and Governor says it’s safe to do so. As kids go back to school next week, our hours will be shifting. Starting Monday, Aug 31: - Mon-Thur: 4-8 - Fri: 4-9 - Sat: 12-9 - Sun 12-8 ADULT LAP SWIM CHANGES. We are thrilled that so many of our members have made use of the Adult Lap Swim. However, as we move to our shorter hours, we need to make some changes. Adult Lap Swim will still be held on Sat and Sun (11-12), but on weekdays we will no longer have a designated private hour. Members are welcome to request a lane during open pool hours. LABOR DAY. We will be open on Labor Day but are not planning any party. Please feel free to come spend your day at the pool. MEMBER MEETING. We usually have a Member Meeting on/around Labor Day to wrap up the season. Since we are staying open a few more weeks, we will have our Member Meeting closer to the end of the season. More information will be announced soon. DOG DAY. As in past years, we plan on holding our annual Dog Day on Saturday, September 26th. The pool will be open for you to bring your dog to run around and swim. (There will be no human swimming, only dog swimming.) Hours will be posted closer to the event. $10 per dog. Calling all Craft Beer enthusiasts, Cornhole Athletes, and everyone in between!! Join us on November 14th (2-5pm) for a beautiful day of safe, outdoor, fun before the sun goes down and we are stuck inside all alone for the winter! Bring a 6 pack of your favorite craft beer to share, a mask to wear, and your arm for tossing bean bags! (Entry into the tournament not necessary but encouraged.)... There will be prizes for the BIG winners, raffles baskets, and a 50/50! IN ADDITION TO THAT... Each ticket sold gets you entered in the online raffle for a chance to win a single-person membership to Creekside for the 2021 season*! You won't want to miss this! 9/16/20 Dear Creekside Members, As we wrap up the last few days of the season, we have a few final announcements.... LAST DAY - The last day of the pool is Sunday, Sept. 20. The pool will close at 7pm. Please take your chairs home and check Lost & Found for any remaining items. BARK & BREW - We will be holding our 3rd annual "Bark & Brew" on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 1pm-5pm! Come bring your dog to SWIM and run around the fenced-in grounds at Creekside. Cost is $10/dog. Please feel free to bring a picnic/drinks for yourself too! You do not need to be a member to participate, so please share with all your dog-loving friends. STAY TUNED - Stay tuned over the fall/winter/spring for updates and announcements. We will be scheduling our annual Fall Cleanup probably sometime in November to clean up leaves and get the property ready for winter. Thanks so much for a great summer! The 1st Annual Craft Beer Share and Cornhole Tournament is coming up and raffle items are ready to go! This is a COMMUNITY EVENT so everyone is welcome! Prize for the Champion Cornhole team is 24 Delicious beverages from our Home Town Brewery Ship Bottom Brewery AND THE GRAND PRIZE 1 single person membership for the 2021 swim season! We will be open for Labor Day, but we will not be having our usual party. Labor Day hours: 12-8. There will be NO early lap swim. Guests are allowed (with a guest pass or the guest fee). Edit: We WILL have adult lap swim!
