Something, anything, on the rocks, please... Has anybody installed new routines in their lives to cope with the crazy that is our new normal? What are you doing to keep your chill? I’ll be honest, straight out of the is-this-real-life, locked-in-my-home gates I probably enjoyed a bit too much wine, but that’s not really a great coping mechanism in the long term I’ve replaced wine with jasmine peach iced tea, but I digress... I’ve always been a list maker because, like... many, I enjoy the feeling of physically crossing something off my list. Practicing patience this Monday morning Wouldn’t it be nice if we could nail everything on the first try? As I’m trying on new design samples for the next style drop I’m reminded of the process the first time around - it takes time and rework and revision to make these pieces hug your curves the way they’re supposed to! Never rush the important things, though, they’re worth the effort and worth the wait :) This is a behind the scenes throwback to one of many fittings at our... production facility in Tempe - patterns hanging on rolling racks lining the walls, rolls upon rolls of fabrics on shelves, sewing machines whirring in the background, and mirror selfies for reference post-fitting. This combo (the Vivi top and Corrine bottom) was *almost* production ready at this point, and it’s a great reminder to my inner Varuca Salt (I want an Oompa Loompa, now!) to chill out and enjoy the process.
