This is the most recent email from 5 Town officials. Nassau County pools opened this week. Why can’t Western Suffolk Towns make it happen?

NY State and Suffolk County officials have approved opening of public pools, but 5 Town officials have announced that they will not be opening town pools this Summer 2020. (Babylon, Huntington, Islip, Smithtown, Brookhaven). Please help by emailing, calling and sharing information to our town officials letting them know that town residents want pools to open this summer! Lap swimming and instructional swimming is possible with distancing guidelines. If beaches are open, pools should open!
