In 2003 there was a helicopter accident in Katse Dam. A German film crew had booked a helicopter while working on a documentary on large dams. When the helicopter sank, the journalist, cameraman, and sound engineer, all white men, swam to safety. The pilot, and a senior from the LHDA perished, both Basotho men. Was it lack of swimming skills? Why is it that they didn't survive? This is the problem that I am to solve. We all need to learn the skill.
