Running a small business has lots of limitations from choice of factory to materials. We really wanted to use high quality Italian fabrics but the minimum order is very high if we want specific colours. The fabrics we used for this design is definitely the most expensive one among all our products. It’s an extra fine Italian fabrics using sustainable eco-fibre from regenerated nylon with UV protection. We can’t do many colours for each design given the minimum order so first ...colour - black was a no brainer. Then we just fell in love with yellow as it reminds us of the Italian that feels so summer and refreshing. So we added extra costs (almost double) to have them manufactured specifically and shipped from Italy. Sadly, it’s not a colour that many appreciates but we had a lot of fun experimenting with new colours and we love it! Just a little story behind our Black Melanite & Lemon Zircon bikini.
