Air leak at valve before the pump causing air in system, usually you can spot the source of the problem by allowing pump to come to full prime then turning off the pump, 9 times out of 10 the back pressure will allow you to identify where the air is coming from #poolrepair

vacuum breaker repair kit installed. winter freeze will damage internal seals causing leakage. to prevent freeze damage turn off supply to breaker before freezing temps roll in and purge the valve by opening testcocks. leave testcocks partially open for duration of freezing temps.
