Happy 4th of July USA! Some of our swimmers practicing their land drills made a video to celebrate America's birthday for the month of July! Since ALL Summer competitions has been cancelled, they wanted to show their efforts with land drills and practice out of the pool. Kudos to the team! Special thanks to Coach Raquel for her choreography work with these awesome athletes! We will be accepting applications for our new season 2020-2021 to start in October! We have a few slots available as we are a small team. Ages 6 to 18 with swim experience and master swimmers ages 19 and older wishing to transition to a FUN sport! https://youtu.be/dr0Xz2NgYFI

Being a team of inclusivity, we are proud every time producers call us to supply our athletes and coaches for commercials, episodes, and other media to show case Artistic Swimming (synchronized swimming). Although our team is relatively 'new' our athletes are globally recognized medalists and our coaches have all served on National teams or have been formally recognized at International Exhibitions. This video series called 'Try & Keep Up" is a series about trying different... sports produced by World renown SELF magazine out of New York. There are 3 Artistic Swim coaches featured. The 1st one is Coach Danielle Emma who coached our AWDs during the inception of our new team and coached our AWDs at the California State Games where they all medaled. The other two coaches are our friends from LA Synchronymphs. Great job and we are proud that they made Artistic Swimming look like a cool sport. Not easy to be a Coach AND have to instruct in the water. KUDOS!!!!https://youtu.be/TH3OR49CWIM See more

UPCOMING!!! This Saturday, July 18th at 10:30am, we will be featured in a live flexibility video featuring AWD global athletes from all over the World! Our Athlete Bridget who also helps coach our younger AWDs, will be demonstrating leg lifts from a chair for athletes who use a wheelchair or have mobility issues. Great for lower leg muscle spasticity and to help with leg extensions for the many hybrid movements we do! Other global athletes will perform exercise demonstrations during the live video which will include a link to access later! Hooray to our swimmers! Still practicing despite not having access to a pool!! Kudos to our swimmers who are working hard on their splits!
Shout out to members of our team who volunteered to make masks for medical and 1st responders. They been cutting and sewing everyday! This is for you!! https://youtu.be/bYD6ETiuJIY
After 8 months to the DAY (March 14, 2020) we had to say goodbye to our pool training only to now get back IN the pool today! It was bittersweet. Our usual swimmers were excited. It was a slow, fun cautious day. We train on Sat and Sun so join us!. The pool is indoors, warm and plenty of space! We do have vacancies (7 spots) on our team and we will be actively recruiting! Our season runs until July. We train 3 weekends per month. We are 'low key' and the transition from swimming to artistic swimming is fun and safe! Please message is if you have a swimmer ages 6yrs and up interested in artistic swimming (synchronized swimming). Minimal swim skills and pool safety required. Any ability and disabled/non-disabled.
Coach Teena... The only difference is she is not going to the pool! Adding a mask and keeping covered up is essential!!
Congrats to our Non Profit organization, Artistic Swim AWD, for getting listed in the USA Paralympics Club page! We hope the outreach will bring us more athletes wishing to train for a potential future for Artistic Swimming as a Paralympic Sport!. Kudos to Coach Raquel for her grass roots movement efforts to lead the sport of Artistic Swimming as a potential future Paralympic Sport!
