What a week from last Friday to today! I can’t thank everyone enough who came along to the lessons at Dalkeith over the last 7 days. The support has been amazing and everyone settled into the new changes extremely well. I’m very proud of all the kids who got on with the lessons even without parents being able to watch and to see them smiling and having fun while being back in the pool was excellent! We are still keeping our fingers crossed for other pools opening to lessons soon and will keep everyone else updated if we have any news. Please email me [email protected] with any questions

Hi Everyone. We hope you are all well and safe. As many of you would have seen there is a proposed date of 14th September for swimming pools/ leisure facilities to reopen however this has still to be confirmed and may change. Even once we have a confirmed date for pools opening this may not be the start date back for lessons and as a result of this we will contact you as soon as we have confirmed dates for your child's lessons to resume. We are currently taking interest lis...ts for lessons (this is only for NEW enquiries, anyone with children with us prior to April 2020 need not reapply for their place) however no times or days can be advised or confirmed until we see what capacity the lessons will return too. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us during the most difficult time we have ever experienced and we look forward to seeing the kids back to lessons in what we hope is the not too distant future. It was great to see you all, and again, I want to thank you all for making everything go so well on our first week back in the water. Looking forward to seeing all our other swimmers return in the coming days too!!

Coronavirus - Lessons update Hi Everyone, Lessons will continue as normal as we continue to monitor the situation and stay in contact with all local councils and leisure facilities that we associate with. Should anything change we will update you all as soon as possible. ... Please see further information below on the use of facilities from Swim England: The Pool Water Treatment and Advisory Group (PWTAG) has been in contact with Public Health England regarding novel coronavirus. A spokesperson for PWTAG said: Public health opinion is that it is generally safe to go swimming at this time. Water and the chlorine within swimming pools will help to kill the virus. However, visitors to swimming pools are reminded to shower before using the pool, to shower on leaving the pool and to follow the necessary hygiene precautions when visiting public places to help reduce the risk of infection. These include washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze and do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean. Most importantly, if you feel unwell, please avoid using the pool.

Coronavirus Update I am sorry to inform everyone that all our lessons will be postponed with immediate effect. As a small family business which supports me and my family this has been an extremely difficult decision but one which is important and necessary.... The health and safety of our participants and teachers is paramount and we hope everyone stays safe and well during these unprecedented times. All customers will receive an email with further information tomorrow. We want to thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all again soon in the pool! Friday and Saturday booking information has now been sent and I will work on getting the rest of the booking info sent out tonight.
