Get a headstart on Spring cleaning and empty your shoe closet! The Elk Grove Piranhas Swim Team is collecting gently-used sneakers in an effort to raise funds for the 2021 Swim Season! Collections take place at the gate during swimmer check-in beginning March 1st to March 11th. We kindly ask you to NOT send any non-athletic footwear (including but not limited to boots, heels, sandals, and dress shoes of any kind.)... Parents, please make sure to send your donations in bags marked with your swimmer/s' name/s. This will help in managing the swimmer check-in and fundraiser collection process at the gate. Not a team member? You can still help out by dropping off your donations at Cafe Elk Grove (8230 Civic Center Dr 95757) Monday-Thursdays, from noon til 3pm. Hello Swimmers and Families, We hope everyone has had a nice holiday season so far and are enjoying their holiday break. With the new year approaching us quickly, no time like now to start thinking about those New Year’s resolutions! Swimming is a great form of exercise and, thankfully, it is an allowed activity during the shutdowns. ... We have programs for all age groups and skill levels, including adults. Swimming is also a great way for our swimmers to burn off their excess energy after being cooped up all day long on the computer too! Pools are heated and we are following all Covid-19 safety protocols recommended by the CDC. High school swimmers, January is a great way to get a jump start on your conditioning for your high school season. And based on current information, high school swimming is looking like one of the few sports that will be allowed this spring. January registration is open and filling up. We are excited to announce we will be conducting a drive thru Tri-Tip Dinner Fundraiser benefiting our team and providing meals to our Cosumnes Community Services District Firefighters on November 10th. Pre-order deadline is Saturday, November 7th. Select: Whole Tri Tip ($45) or 6 Pieces of BBQ Chicken ($40) Includes Baked beans, Mac & Cheese, salad, bread, and dessert for 4.... Family Meal Pick Up Date: November 10, 2020 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm (parking lot of EG Aquatic Center) Donated meals will be delivered to local CSD Fire Stations on November 11th and 12th.
