It is time to pay attention. We are a little over a week out from the Colin's Hope our Best Day Ever Party to Prevent Drowning (Sat, May 4th). It will be an epic night of fun , food, drink, sharing of the impact Colin's Hope is making to save lives, an awesome Live Auction with Heath Hale - the Cowboy Auctioneer (Thanks Amy Engelmann for being our auction boss lady) featuring trips to mountains and beaches, a custom rug from Kyle Bunting or a Party GOODNIGHT LOVING VODKA OR crazy raffle prizes/packages - and you do NOT have to be present to win so if you cannot come to the party---you better buy some raffle tickets NOW..think Instant Wine Cellar from Ethel's Wine Market - parties from High 5 and Emler Swim School, jewelry from Kendra Scott, a college application package from College Inroads, LLC AND more... and as you see here- we are honored that Texas Representative Vikki Goodwinwill be there to show her support for our work to end drowning in Texas. Do not miss the Steiner Ranch Easter Egg hunt this Saturday, April 20th, 2019. Activities will begin at 9:00am and will include face painters, balloon twisters,... a DJ and other fun activities. Unfortunately this year there will not be any pony rides and petting zoo as the vendor has been affected by a tornado and is unable to attend the event. The Event Planning Committee has tried to find another vendor but unfortunately this time of the year they are all booked up. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 10am sharp. Thousands of Easter eggs will be hidden and placed on the grounds at John Simpson Park. Children should start lining up along the sidewalk next to their dedicated age group at 9:55am. Please wait for the fire truck or air horn to sound for the big start. To ensure all children leave with eggs, we ask each child to limit their eggs to ONE DOZEN. Please keep this in mind when your child is on the hunt. All children will be divided by age group and there will be three special egg per group for a great prize. Thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors that made the event possible.
