Unfortunately we have reached the breaking point and have to move to plan F. We are suggesting that everyone completely Shut Down your pools. Although some of your pools are still moving well, the pools can’t handle start/restart with the rolling blackouts. We’ve discussed this with other pool company’s and we agree this is the best option. Step 1 Power down the equipment at the main breaker or sub panel. We don’t want the equipment trying to come back on.... Step 2 Release the air relief valve on top of the filter to release pressure. Step 3 Twist off the main cap at bottom of filter tank, some may already be frozen but at least the water has somewhere to drain to when it thaws. Step 4 Twist off the drain plug(s) on all pumps. The main pumps have two and the Polaris pump and chlorinator have one on the front bottom. Step 5 Remove the heater plug to drain water from it. Step 6 YouTube is your friend try to find videos of each step if your struggling. If your still having problems call one of us and we will walk you through it. If we don’t answer we are on the phone with another client and will call you back. Step 7 We will not turn any pools back on until next Tuesday when we completely thaw out.
