Contemporary pools are classic and elegant. They look great in almost any backyard.

If you think your yard is too small for a pool, then you should look at this back yard. We are about to start construction on the family's pool. There is an 8' utility easement in the back which only allows us to build a very thin pool. I was even able to get a spa into it. I cannot wait to see it finished!

I LOVE it when a design comes together! Pardon the borrowing of a phrase from an old TV show, but I do love it when a pool is finished and it exceeds the expectations and dreams of the family it was designed for. Here is a pool that we recently finished and it is more on the modern side but not over the top modern. It's travertine as far as the eye can see. We did a travertine coping, deck and even stand up travertine on the raised pool wall face.... We also did a black interior, which helps make the pool serene.

Yard elevations, if planned right, can make a pool and back yard even more beautiful. This is a pool that we recently finished where the yard had almost a 3' drop from the house. We lowered the pool and created a beautiful courtyard feel. The pool is done in travertine and cool deck has been applied to the patio surface to help keep it from getting so hot in the Texas heat. There is no doubt, this is a relaxing environment!

With Valentine's just a few days away, do you have a backyard that's fit for romantic evenings?

How do you start to make your dreams come true. You must first start with a design and then it takes off from there. Here is a beautiful pool that we just started this past week. Sadly I have been so busy that I dont have any progress photos yet but will post as soon as I do. This yard had several elevation challenges but all of them came together by lowering the pool and creating a sunken fire pit area.... I cannot wait for this pool to be finished and for the wonderful family to go swimming!

Here is a beautiful pool designed for a smaller back yard. Its a clean and elegant rectangle with an offset tanning ledge so your swim space is open for games, laps or simple enjoyment of the pool. there was even enough space for an outdoor kitchen and pergola.
