We finished up our first session of Swim School last night! But we are so proud of these Little Krakens and everything they learned and accomplished these last 8 weeks! Happy Monday and happy first day of Swim School Session #2!!! We are so excited to meet our next group of Little Krakens and to also welcome back some familiar faces from Session #1! We also wanted to take a moment to thank you all for enrolling your kids in our program...ALL TWENTY EIGHT OF THEM! (2 beginner groups, and one advanced beginner and parent/child group)... We are blown away at how enrollment has grown in just one session and are so excited to help your Little Krakens get comfortable, but most importantly be SAFE, in and around the water. We will see you all tonight! Adrienne will be around to answer any questions and to help navigate.

For those of you signed up for our next session that starts on Monday- PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL! We are looking to move some kids around to make class sizes smaller, giving your child more one on one instruction. If you are scheduled in either of the MW groups and want to move to the TTR group, please email or message us ASAP! ... SWIM SCHOOL UPDATE Our 6:30-7pm Beginner Lesson slot is FULL!!! WAHOOO!! So, we have added another session that will run from 6-6:30PM. Our Advanced Beginner class is also close to full! ... If you're child is currently enrolled in Swim School - make sure you get them signed up for the 2nd session ASAP so they can continue moving through their progress card and earn those bands! If you have two children who may be in two different skill groups, please feel free to call/message Adrienne about what days you will be designated - we're going to work to keep siblings together! We are so happy to have so many new Little Krakens signed up for session 2 and to see how much our current Little Krakens have learned!

Our Tues./Thurs. group had their last lesson last night and we had some Banding Up to do! Zoe, Marcia, Xavier, Emily, Jackson, & Ella(siblings pictured for moral support ) all COMPLETED the Advanced Beginner curriculum and earned their Light Blue bands to end their 8 week session. They all mastered the following: - Streamlining... - Front & back float in streamline - Front kick in streamline - Back kick in streamline - Rotary breathing - Front crawl/freestyle - Backstroke - Freestyle flip turns - Backstroke flip turns - Kneeling shallow dive - Standing shallow dive. We could not be prouder of these Little Krakens and look forward to seeing some of them swimming on our club team in the future!
