Broke ground on an exciting project. Here are some snapshots of the design and the early stages of construction. Once complete we will have added a walk-in closet, office, bathroom and covered porch before we install the pool, spill over hot tub, outdoor kitchen, pavers pool deck and more!

One of our customers, Daniel Thompson was gracious enough to share a photo of his completed backyard transformation after he got the sod laid down. This was previously a 10’x12’ concrete patio transformed into a 330 SF patio with a sitting wall and lighting. Looks fantastic and thank you for the opportunity to work for you and your family.

We recently were called to look at a recent installation by another company. The pavers were not laid properly on a compacted stone base, some pavers were upside down and the contractor even cut a paver so the irrigation head could pop up (instead of relocating it to the outer edge. The wall installed wasn’t glued either. We removed the entire patio, excavated the necessary soil, reimagined the space and repurposed the wall block to make a small yet effective fire pit. Although we hate that the customer had a bad experience with their first contractor, we are happy that we could save the materials and create a space they can truly appreciate and enjoy!

Here is a unique application. The customer recently had a sunroom addition added to their home. During that construction, the existing patio was removed and saved. The reimagined area included adding a fire pit, sitting wall and an additional 225 SF of patio space. Rather than create 2 separate areas, we intertwined the two, cleaned up the weathered pavers and created a truly customs patio space. It’s always fun to be presented with a unique challenge!

Riverside Services is excited to announce that Garry M. Stevenson II has joined our marketing team. Garry started as a friend, became a customer and subsequently has shared his overall experience with friends and neighbors alike. Garry is a Firefighter for the City of Wilmington, a dedicated husband and a father. In his spare time, he will be assisting with promoting our outdoor living design and installation services including swimming pools, pavers, concrete, asphalt, outdoor kitchens and more. Our goal is to surround ourselves with great people and Garry fits that description perfectly! Please join Riverside Services in welcoming Garry to our team!

Here is a project that we can’t wait to finish! Pool deck won’t be started for a couple weeks at the homeowners request but the wall and steps are coming together nicely!

That’s a big hole in the ground! Any guesses as to what that might be for? Stay tuned! Crane and pool are coming tomorrow!

Riverside Services has set their first pool. With proper planning, good people and hard work, we are right on schedule to complete the installation in 3 days. We also had to have a little fun as one of the owners of Riverside Services had a birthday today. What better way than to celebrate Shannon’s birthday than go fly the pool into place with a Happy Birthday banner hung from the pool! Today marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in our business. ... Electrical will be completed next week. Permeable paver pool deck will begin next week!
