This has been a strange and tough year for the world in too many ways. When I look at this picture I feel it summarizes it in some way. There we are, sitting in our bit of sand being hit by wave after wave. The waves can be the kind that sting and hurt and they can be the kind that hug you and refresh you. But they keep coming regardless and you're not quite sure which one will be next. That's what this year has been so far to us at Outplay and I know we're not alone. There h...ave been some great waves that have hit our business and family unexpectedly and then there have been some real stingers. But through it all, we're choosing to keep a huge smile on our faces and hold on. We've dug our feet into the sand and the best part is we're not alone on this beach. You aren't either. We're with you, side by side. We will get through it. This photo was from our last full shoot back in February, right before life as we knew it changed. So much of what we had planned for this year was put on hold (like the board shorts Johnathan is wearing in this pic). But that doesn't mean things don't move forward, they just look different. And different isn't bad, its just where we are today. And he, different makes us each unique. So let's look towards the future and be grateful for what we have and who we are today, even though or because of this year. Thank you for your support of our tiny (now even more tiny) but mighty team at Outplay. Thank you for taking every wave this year has decided to hit you with and staying true to yourself regardless. I’m female-bodied and dislike how exposed I feel in normal bathing suits. Outplay made me feel comfortable and safe with a simple design. It’s a great and durable, the compression makes movement easy without that suffocation feel even when wet. As someone who’s trans & non-binary, it’s difficult to find athletic clothing that matches my body - particularly sports bras.
