Here is an updated message from the Committee who run Lazonby Pool and Campsite: We are really sorry to announce that Lazonby Pool and Camp Site will not be opening this season. Having considered all the appropriate guidance, we feel that we cannot maintain the social distancing required to keep all our visitors safe. Many have been asking us if they can donate their usual Season Ticket fees to assist with the upkeep of the pool. We greatly appreciate people’s support ...at this time when we, like many organisations, have little income. If this is something that you would like to do, please use the PayPal link provided on our website or in our Facebook group. Our goal is to raise 10,000 in order to purchase an automatic chlorinator for the pool. Behind-the-scenes update: We have been working in accordance with the guidelines and are most of the way through repainting the pool itself. We are also tidying up the front entrance, to provide a new garden and seating area. Repairs have been made to the play park, and much of the camp site has been successfully reseeded. So we hope to re-open next year with many improvements to the pool and its environs.

Hi all. Here is an update from the Pool committee, who run the campsite, regarding refunds: Lazonby Swimming Pool is currently in the process of contacting all those who are entitled to refunds on any cancelled bookings for Lazonby Camp Site. For campers who have booked for July 2020, they are currently being contacted to offer options for holding, transferring or cancelling bookings. If you do not receive an email from Lazonby Swimming Pool in the next few days, please ...contact: [email protected] For bookings for August and September 2020, we will be in contact once we know how the current COVID_19 outbreak restrictions affect the Pool and Camp Site for those months. Due to the current corona virus (COVID-19) outbreak, Lazonby Swimming Pool and Camp Site will not be opening for the 2020 season until further notice. All campers who have already paid their balance fees for bookings to June 2020 will be contacted shortly by the Pool, with details of what refund is available.... Bookings for July onwards, will be contacted as the guidelines for the outbreak develop. In the meantime if anyone wishes to change their booking to an alternative date later in the season (to the end of September 2020) or to 2021, please contact: [email protected]

This year the Pool Committee has been busy improving the drainage on the campsite. in addition work is currently in progress on a new Disabled Wet Room at the Pool complete with adult changing bed, shower chairs and a hoist into the pool. Access will be via radar key.
