**Extra Swim Sessions** Dear Swimmers, ... We are pleased to announce as our Advanced Stroke Improvement and Junior Club Squad sessions were very popular we have been able to secure some more pool time at Truro High school on Saturday afternoons to run 2 more sessions The criteria is as before ASI - age 7 upwards with the ability to swim 25m each stroke in a basic format. Junior Club Swimmers, criteria is aimed at improving all strokes further with block diving and swimming turns. The advanced stroke session will run from Saturday 19th September - Saturday 16th December 14:30 -15:25 a total of 13 sessions ( no session Saturday 31st October ) Junior Club sessions will run from Saturday 19th September - Saturday 19th December ( no session Saturday 31st October ) 15:30 - 16:25 a total of 13 sessions. Booking will open Friday 4th September at 7:30pm through our online portal. If you already registered with us, you will be able to log into the parent portal following the link on our website - https://www.cornishswimacademy.co.uk/swim-school-parent-po/ For those that have already booked and paid for a Wednesday night session but would like to also book the Saturday sessions please email us once booked so I can adjust the amounts to credit for the cancelled session next week as per the previous email. Evening everyone, Tonights Stroke Improvement Sessions - Just to confirm a few details Truro High School has now said please can parents use the Green Lane carpark. ... A staff member/group leader will be there waiting until all swimmers have arrived and then bring the group over to the pool Groups must arrive on time for sessions and avoid arriving early or late. The incoming group must wait on the gravel path and lawn to the right-hand side of the closed security gate to the swimming pool compound. **News Flash** Swim School Re-Starting _ Next Week! Hi All, ... We are pleased to announce we are able to restart our swim school lessons at Newperran on Monday 14th September, we will be running a reduced program with only one class running at a time from Mondays to Thursdays and limited spaces available. Swim School Timetable - MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY: Stage 1 - 15:45 Stage 2 - 16:15 Stage 3 - 16:45 Stage 4/5 - 17:15 Monday evening Advanced Stroke Improvement 17:45 -18:40 (Some previous stage 6/7 swimmers may be ready to join the Monday advanced stroke session please send us an email to find out if this will be a suitable class for your child) Swim School will only be running up to and including Thursday 29th October (this is a total of 7 sessions) due to Newperran Closing the Pool for refurbishments. Important Covid-19 Guidance for Newperran Each learn to swim class will be 25 minutes long to allow for no overlap of swimmers entering and leaving the pool area. Swimmers must come at the time of their lesson ready to swim; there will be NO use of the showers. Only 1 parent/guardian per swimmer allowed in the pool area (siblings may accompany parent/guardians where necessary)... Parents/guardians and swimmers must exit the pool area as swiftly as possible to allow for the next session to take place. Where there is a gap between siblings sessions, parents/guardians must leave the pool area during this time (the onsite bar area will be available to wait in) Parents/guardians must abide by the government rules and not congregate in groups of more than 6. Face coverings need not be worn unless you would prefer to do so. We thank you for your cooperation and hope the children enjoy returning to swim school lessons with us.
