I went snorkelling in a remote lagoon this morning because I’m very sporty and adventurous.

Patsy had a big day at daycare and then she came swimming. She barely made it home before falling asleep.

I just experienced one of the hardest things in my life. My K9 partner, best friend, and family member was euthanized after suffering kidney failure last night.... Test results showed blood in her stomach from the liver, possibly cancer. I just wanted to take her home and back to work just one more time. We both retired within the last year and enjoyed our walks. She served the TSA and Dallas Police Department for 10 years as an explosive detection canine. She had the privilege of searching for every living President including Bush Sr., Dalai Lama, Dirk and the Champion Mavericks, Super Bowl events in Dallas, TX/OU games, Final 4 basketball and the first College Football Championship. She even got to meet Justin Bieber. She also responded to the July 7 downtown shooting with the entire team for a long night of searching. Barna will be missed but never forgotten. As Henry was finishing up his swim session yesterday, guess who showed up for his session? Copper, Henry's best buddy from Dog Days of Birmingham! We let them s...wim together for a few minutes. Henry had 2 ACL (CCL is the correct canine term) surgeries, and Copper had 2 tendon surgeries, and both rehabbed with Sherri Kiker Griffin at https://www.sassyswimmers.com/. Both come back now for the exercise and to maintain the strength and flexibility in their back legs that were operated on. WET AND WILD is the best way to describe having both in the pool at the same time! See more

Trip starting back up swimming today! First day in my outdoor pool.
