Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4, and the 2nd leading cause of accidental death in children ages 0-19. Raising awareness and increasing education is critical if we are going to change these very scary statistics. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention state that participation in formal swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by as much as 88 percent among young children age 1-4. If your child cannot swim independently and is not enrolled in formal lessons, please consider starting their education now. Come join us at Swim Tank in either our Harrison or our Mamaroneck location. We are offering private lessons to limit the amount of people in the pool and waiting areas so that we keep everyone safe! Our Harrison location hosts just 4 lessons at a time and our larger Mamaroneck location hosts just 7 lessons at a time.
