WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY & SHELTER INFORMATION: Tonight, February 1, through tomorrow morning, low temperatures are expected to fall into the middle to upper 3...0s across east central Florida, with wind chill values in the upper 20s to low 30s are also expected. The duration of temperatures below 40 degrees for Osceola may be 3-4 hours. Beginning on Tuesday evening, February 2, low temperatures are expected to again fall into the middle to upper 30s across central Florida by early Wednesday morning. While freeze conditions are not forecast at this time, this will be closely monitored over the next 24 hours. Additional cold temperatures are forecast for Wednesday night, February 3, and continuing into Thursday morning with low temperatures falling into the middle to upper 30s again. Low temperatures could reach the lower 30s depending on how opaque the high clouds are, which could be the difference between a frost and a freeze. Currently, frost may be a higher possibility overnight than the previous night as winds will be light to calm.
