Tomorrow sets are sent out We are nearly at the end of the season, but triathlon is juts about to start Few races left and this will be last hard season for tri-kids (not for the rest) We will be swimmig 1h only 14.30-15.30 on Saturday as the lake will be closing earlier ... Please email me to book (and I will finally will be allowed to get out of the house!)

You may saw Hamish at the lake. He did not swim with us... but often swam the same time He is one of the athletes whom I usually put as an example how...example of how vision of a big picture and focusing on small steps, taking responsibility and dedication can get an athlete from nowhere to being one of the best junior athlete in the world I met Hamish back to when my son was in regional triathlon acedemy. I was asked to give him a lift to the assessment day He performed o...k in a run and as far as I recall juts about get the times. Swimmig was not good.. Well off ... and the core test was bad. But there was a huge desire ... That time I was helping at the acedemy... we talked to other coaches and decided to re-test him in a couple of month. He was given a task to become stronger, to work on his strength and conditioning... 2 month passed and we saw a different person in front of us I often talked to Hamish’s mother about his training. He finds seasons, coaches. He created and search for opportunities to improve, people who can help him. Even when he was 14-15 he was creating his own training schedule, just telling his mother what sessions and where he needed to attend. Essentially he took ownership of his development as an athlete. And what’s a great athlete he became
