Got rodents?! I see a lot of spas that have indications of rodents. These little guys can cost you $2000+ in repairs! What attracts them to your spa? The spas are warm, provide protection from predators, offer a lifetime supply of nesting materials, and an endless supply of water. I can’t stress enough how important it is to keep rodents out! What can you do about these pests? The best way to deter unwanted guests is to get an exterminator that has experience with these types... of problems. It is also important to keep debris away from the spa, as well as sealing up any holes with steel wool & spray foam. Placing sticky traps in the corners and around the edges of the spa cabinet is also useful to catch rodents that run along the perimeter of the space. Don’t wait until you have to say RATS!

Spa maintenance can seem overwhelming and complicated. I am someone who doesn’t do complicated; so, I did my best to come up with the simplest maintenance sheet possible. I’ve been giving out these sheets for quite some time. I even use this maintenance sheet! What can I say? I fix pools and hot tubs for a living. I prefer simple too!
