I did this video when it was MUCH warmer last year...so maybe do it in the bath this time round, it's far too cold to be doing this outside. Hi JLA swimmers and parents, hope everyone has kept safe and well during lockdown. As you will almost certainly have heard on the news, swimming pools are being allowed to open from 24th July subject to a multitude of health and safety guidelines. Unfortunately due to the size of our pool and changing rooms we will be unable to meet most of the criteria and therefore will have to wait until the guidelines are changed. Also the school are not prepared to allow the pool to b...e used until September at the earliest. We will be in touch with all our swimmers and post on Facebook as soon as it is safe for us to resume our lessons again.

We sent an e-mail out last week asking if swimmers were happy to return to lessons in September. Obviously the guidelines may change between now and then - however we would very much appreciate your replies. Without enough swimmers, we may have to delay are return.

Happy Saturday. Here is this week's video finishing off our breaststroke. Remember when swimming the whole stroke the timing is "arms and breathe, legs and glide, 1 2 3" Over the next couple of week's we will focus on video water safety which is very important for the whole family.
