Research also continually shows that women often don’t breastfeed because they don’t have enough support. And then those same women often are made to feel as though they are failing somehow because they aren’t breastfeeding. Then, parenting comes along and there are opinions and judgments coming from everywhere. Pregnancy, birth, and parenting is natural and beautiful but it’s also HARD. So why, when this amazing feat is a requirement for the human race to continue are women lacking so much support? You feel me?
