Get to know our Minnetonka Swim Club Coaches. This week, we are featuring Assistant Coach Ellery! Outside of the pool, who are you? I am a high school senior who loves biology, psychology, swimming, coaching, and spending time with friends and family! What is your zodiac sign? Gemini What's your favorite meal?... My dad’s spaghetti Are you from Minnesota? Yes! Have you ever lived outside of MN? No, but maybe soon... What three words would your friends and family use to describe you? Ambitious, hard-working, and caring Where would you like to visit? Bora Bora What is your favorite stroke to swim and coach? Freestyle and butterfly What's your swimming background? I have been swimming on the club for coming up on 8 years, and have been coaching since June! I might be swimming in college next year, but we will have to see! What kind of hobbies do you have? I like reading, watching Survivor, and spending time with my friends and family Do you have a favorite movie, if so, what is it and why do you love it? I love the Harry Potter and Marvel movies, specifically the Half Blood Prince, Thor Ragnarok, and Iron Man 1&2! Describe your perfect Saturday afternoon... Okay so we’re in Miami, and we just finished a killer workout. We go hang out in a hot tub for a few minutes and then we get ready to get dinner in the city! Then we go to the beach for some late night swimming with glow sticks on and fireworks in the background! Is a hot dog a sandwich? Feel free to expand why! Absolutely not.
