Wonderful place for humans and horses to grow together

Due to the recent landfall of Hurricane Irma we are trying to resume normal service as soon as we physically can given the conditions which we are given. Issues we currently face are lack of chemicals at the supply house which includes chlorine and salt etc. partnered with gas stations with no gas and cell phones which are not functioning propertly. Most phones are able to receive text but not make or receive voice calls. Some roads are flooded and others blocked by fallen ...trees. These challenges we are facing before we even get to your pools. Please be aware when you get service it may not be your normal technician or your schedule day. We are trying to do as much as we can. Our main objective is to get chemicals into all the pools and ensure motors/pumps are running. Any existing chemicals have been diluted due to the water dropped by Irma. Some of us still do not have power so pools are just standing like ponds and inevitably turn green. I know FPL is doing everything it can. Next week we plan to do as much cleaning up of the pool as possible. Your pool will look perfect again. We will endeavor to provide the best service we can given the conditions that are upon us. We are very thankful this storm became a category 2 and not a 4/5. If you leave a message on our answerphone we will try our best to get back to you. Or alternatively send us an email to [email protected]. I am sharing this because it puts some humor on what could have been a much much worse scenario.... "Please be nice to our technicians as well as all the people around you. For the last week, they feel like they have packed, moved, camped, built a house, done major re landscaping, spent money on stupid bunker food, and found new ways of cheating death, all the while being told we might die very, very soon. Like you, they haven't slept. Some have lost income and some were robbed, or worse. Also, our kids have been out of school for DAYS and looking at us like we are insane. Tread lightly. We are one taco short of a combination plate and it's...Monday? Tuesday? What day IS it?" Thank you for your patience support and understanding on this journey

This 16 year old Mustang was removed from the wild at age 4 and was kept in a dark, boarded up shed for 4 years. After the case was reported, it took 8 darts to... sedate him. He was deemed dangerous, so euthanasia was suggested. Instead, he was picked up by 16 Hands Horse Sanctuary... Krystal, a volunteer there, adopted him and has spent endless hours to calm him. She's done a great job, considering the emotional trama he endured. But he continued to avoid contact. This is their journey... "Chevy and I are headed to Nancy Slater Natural Horsemanship!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!"

Steve continues his journey. We will put this where it needs to be. Crushed and in remission.

Thanksgiving Break For our customers who have supported us for many years you are aware we give our techs a weeks paid leave at Thanksgiving and Xmas. They work so hard throughout the year especially in the summer. All pools have been adequately balanced to take them through this period. Our offices are now closed and our techs are on vacation. Grant one of our technicians has an amazing knowledge of horticulture. He found a San Pedro Cactus Fruit whilst doing his route yesterday. They're crisp and sweet. Like a pear with little black crunchy seeds. Really good and hard to find. The fruits only bloom when the overnight flowers have been fertilized. That's why they're so rare. Bees only have a few hours to pollinate before the flowers close and fall off.
